Kaisei “Toei Special” Fork Blades

The Kaisei “Toei Special” fork blade has been inspired by the Reynolds 531 “Super Resilient” fork blades used by the great French constructeurs René Herse and Alex Singer.

Tests have shown that fork blades can absorb larger bumps that overwhelm even a 42 mm-wide tire. To combine comfort with sure-footed handling, a fork blade should be strong near the crown and flexible in the lower section.

Sold as a pair of blades – enough for one fork.

Made in Japan.
