"I recently installed Barlow Pass extra lights on my Quickbeam fixed-wheel bike. I needed to switch the rear cog to compensate for the additional speed."

Barlow Pass (720 m/2361 ft) is part of the Mountain Loop Highway, a scenic gravel road through the central Cascades.
The road lead past the ghost town of Monte Cristo before ascending the pass. The road here is wide-open, so the extra stability of a large-wheeled bike can provide an advantage as you descend at high speed on this gravel road. The Barlow Pass also is a great way to transform the on-road performance of your 29" mountain bike.
Available with standard or extralight casings. The extralight casing not only reduces the tire’s weight, but is also more supple, thus increasing the tire’s speed and comfort even further.
390 g, clincher, folding bead. Tan sidewalls.
Made in Japan.
Ultra-light, ultra-supple casing. Tan or black sidewalls.
359 g, clincher, folding bead. Made in Japan.
We recommend Schwalbe SV17 or SV18 (Extralight) tubes for the Barlow Pass tires.
