Generator hubs have changed how we ride our bikes. When it gets dark, we simply switch on our lights and continue with the same speed and comfort as before. No longer do we worry how much battery power we have left. No longer is our night-time riding accompanied by noisy generators. You won’t notice the generator hub when it’s off. Nor will you notice the tiny bit of resistance when it’s on.

All Compass lights are powered by generator hubs. To use them, you’ll need a new front wheel built around the generator hub, and run wires from the hub to the lights. (On a custom bike, the lights can run inside the frame’s tubes, where they are protected from damage.)
