The appearance of Grand Bois’ high-flange hubs is inspired by the classic Maxi-Car hubs. Technically, they are modern cassette hubs with sealed cartridge bearings and a polished aluminum body. Aluminum axles and cassette bodies keep the weight down. Quick releases are included.
Note: The cassette bodies are made from aluminum, and should be used with high-end cassettes that have a carrier hub for all but the smallest three cogs.
